[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Personas are an archetypical user of a system, an example of the type of person who would interact with it,whose goals and characteristics represent the needs of a larger group of users. They are profiles of fictional characters or people based on ethnographic research, surveys or interviews.

User stories are part of an agile approach that helps shift the focus from writing about requirements to talking about them. They are short, simple descriptions of a feature told from the perspective of the persona who desires the new capability. They typically follow a simple template:

As a <type of user>, I want <some goal> so that <some reason>.

Adding a condition of satisfaction or breaking out a situational variable can add more detail that is critical to supporting the user value proposition.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_gallery interval="3" images="534,553,555,544" img_size="600x403"][/vc_column][/vc_row]
